Chocolate Chip Cookie In a Mug

You’re Gonna HAVE to pay me for this one or at least send me some sort of sweet treat (preferably salted caramel macarons). Say Goodbye to your random cookie cravings and Hello to the easiest way to get that cookie fix.

No creaming of butter and sugar required = Heaven sent recipe! I LOVE to bake, you’ll always find me in the kitchen but one thing that ANNOYS me soo much is creaming butter and sugar especially if you forget to bring your butter out of the fridge- Hate when that happens.

I’ve been trying to make as many single serving cakes and treats as I can to share with you guys, and creaming 1 tablespoon of butter and sugar is the MOST tedious task ever.

But lo and behold this BOMB recipe calls for melted butter!! *insert awesome dance moves* . So, without further blabbing Heres what you’ll need:

  • 3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • splash of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips
  • pinch of salt

First, mix your sugars and butter together, and then add your egg yolk and vanilla.

Then your flour and salt go in to create the cookie doughhhhh- yasss!

And then finally, the star of the show- chocolate chips!

You’re almost there! Cook your cookie in the microwave for 1 minute. Check after the first 30 seconds and then cook it in 10 second bursts till the top is no more wet.

And there you have your chocolate chip mug cookie in all its glory!

Serve with Ice cream or not and ENJOY!
