You know what day it is – #TREATYOSELFTUESDAY!!!!!
And today I bring to you An Oreo mug Cake! From one of my Fave Baking Sites!
Oreos- one of the GREATEST inventions EVER. I am one of those “Oreoheads”, I LOVE EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING to do with Oreos. I even attempted making Oreos at home.
I’ve legit seen all sorts of knock offs from “Recreo” to “Noreos” damn even “rodeo”- lool, but obvs Oreo remains the best.
I like to think i’m not the only one with this Obsession. No, no- I know i’m not the only “Oreoholic”. Like Nutella I think Oreos are a universal thing.
Eating one whole pack of Oreos is Good enough for me but sometimes we need a change, and what better way to do this than with a mug cake!
I know how much we all love Mug cakes- and i’m pretty sure you’re gonna want to try this one out.
Here’s What you’ll need:
- 5 1/2 tablespoons of plain flour
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon of baking powder
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 2 Oreos crushed
- an egg
First, mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
And then add all the wet into the same bowl- DUHH!
Give it a good ol’ whisk and add your crushed Oreos.
There you have your cake batter ready! Divide your mix into two small microwave safe mugs or ramekins- Oh did I forget to mention that IT MAKES 2 servings!?! Yup! You read that right, double the goodness! You know its TREAT YO SELF TUESDAY!
Then, you want to cook your cake in the microwave for 1 minute checking after the first 30 seconds and then every 10 seconds until it’s no longer wet at the top.
Here’s what mine looked like before I did what I do to all my Mugcakes (top with ice cream and crushed toppings).
Serve with Vanilla Ice-cream or OREO Ice-cream and crushed Oreos.
And DIG IN!! So yummy looking right? I know!
